Our expert team

A Cosmetic Product Safety Report is only as good as the people behind it. Ours is a team of qualified assessors, laboratory scientists and formulators, working under a single quality management system and one named clinical pharmacologist.

The wider team

Behind every assessment sits a multidisciplinary team employed directly by Oxford Biosciences. Our assessors, regulatory specialists, laboratory scientists and product experts work in-house, within the same quality system and under the same final sign-off. That depth of permanent, in-house expertise is a defining strength of Oxford Biosciences in a sector where key technical functions are often outsourced or subcontracted.

In-house assessors

Our assessors are qualified under Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and carry out the exposure modelling, toxicological review and risk assessment behind every CPSR. Working within the same quality system, they assess ingredient safety, exposure, margins of safety and product-specific risks before final sign-off.

Regulatory experts

Our regulatory team takes products from assessment through to market: CPNP and SCPN notifications, Product Information Files, Responsible Person administration, label and claims review, and market-specific compliance. The work remains in-house, with assessment, documentation and regulatory filing managed within the same quality system.

Product experts

Our product specialists bring formulation and category expertise across skincare, hair care, colour cosmetics, body care, fragrance, sun protection, oral care, nail care and specialist sectors including natural and organic, vegan, CBD, baby, men's grooming, professional salon, intimate care and K-beauty. They support formulation review, product development and reformulation where composition, performance or market restrictions require specific input.
